Josiah Parker PT,DPT

Josiah is the founder and lead therapist of Elevate Physical Therapy. He grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and went to undergraduate school at the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he was a 3 year captain of the basketball team, first team academic all conference, and earned a degree in business management. His pursuits then took him to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he served as class president, was a LEND scholar, received the APTA's minority scholarship award, and earned his doctorate of physical therapy.

Since graduating in 2013 Josiah has developed well rounded skills treating pediatrics, weekend warriors, professional athletes, geriatrics, and pretty much anyone in between. He has spent time honing his craft with many continuing education courses including dry needling, FMS, SFMA, PRI, Kevin Wilk, and concussion courses with the AAN and University of Pittsburgh. Being at the cutting edge of patient care continues to drive him and he is consistently looking for new opportunities to learn.

Josiah is married to his wife Kimberly and they have two kids, a son named Titus and a daughter named Ruby. In his free time he loves any time he can get with family and enjoys being outdoors, especially for hiking or golf.

Julie Banning PT,DPT, PRC

Julie graduated from Concordia University, Seward, NE with a BA in Biology and a BS in Secondary Education. A brief interlude in teaching led her back to pursue her original passion, to treat people in medicine. This background combined with a love of physical therapy drives her desire to help her patients understand the why and how in their physical therapy journey.

After graduating from Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science in 2007, with her doctorate of physical therapy, Julie has continued to expand and develop her skills. She has a strong background treating a wide spectrum of orthopedic injuries across the lifespan. She received her Postural Restoration Certification in 2012. She has diverse skills including visceral mobilization, dry needling and functional tri-planar assessment. Clinically Julie places a strong emphasis on biomechanics of the body and loves to celebrate the ‘wins’ toward physical therapy goals. She considers herself a movement specialist and loves to identify the elements that may be restricting movement patterns.

In her free time, Julie enjoys reading, exploring new ideas and traveling near and far. Julie grew up in Wyoming but now calls Nebraska her home. Any opportunity to spend time outdoors hiking, cycling or walking is a highlight of the day. Spending time with extended family continues to be a priority as well.

Brad Corr PT,DPT

Brad holds a BS in Athletic Training from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. A committed lifelong learner, he has completed a post-doctoral Fellowship in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND), is an alum of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) Leadership Academy, and is on track to complete his PhD in Medical Sciences Interdepartmental Area in 2024.

With a deep passion for motor development across the lifespan, Brad is particularly interested in how movement influences overall health. He believes that a comprehensive understanding of human development is critical in addressing diverse health needs—whether working with an infant with torticollis, a young athlete fine-tuning their skills, a middle-aged adult struggling with chronic pain, or an older adult concerned about balance and fall risk. His work is driven by a commitment to critical thinking and creative problem-solving, tailoring physical therapy interventions to help each patient achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of his professional life, Brad is a dedicated family man, married to his high school sweetheart, Lindsey, with whom he has four sons. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, from exploring regenerative farming practices on the family farm to coaching his boys in their sports and organizing the always-popular backyard football games.
